CaringWheels is looking for a passionate Social Media Content Creator & Article Writer who can help amplify our voice and bring stories of care, resilience, and empowerment to life.
🌱 About the Role:
This is more than just a content job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a movement. You’ll craft meaningful stories, design engaging content, and build a strong digital presence that connects caregivers, volunteers, career transitioners, and supporters across our community.
🛠️ Responsibilities:
- Create authentic, engaging social media content that reflects CWL’s values and voice
- Write blog posts, caregiver stories, volunteer spotlights, and thought articles for our website and newsletters
- Work with the team to plan content calendars aligned with campaigns and outreach
- Collaborate on visual storytelling (e.g. Canva posts, simple videos, infographics)
- Help us grow our online presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Track engagement and help us learn what resonates with our audience
🤝 Requirements:
- A strong writer and storyteller with empathy and emotional insight
- Passionate about social causes, especially caregiving, community wellness, or volunteerism
- Familiar with social media tools and comfortable managing content calendars
- Able to adapt your writing style to fit different tones — from informative to heartfelt
- Organized, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines
- Experience with Canva, MailChimp, Adobe, CapCut, or other creative tools is a plus
💡 Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience as a caregiver / volunteer / advocate
- Experience working with non-profit or purpose-led organizations
- Basic knowledge of SEO or newsletter platforms like Mailchimp
