Job Description
This role offers a unique opportunity in particular for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in delivering learning & engagement programs for children, youth and adults. Programs include actor training for young people, Stage Camps, SRT’s holiday camps, speech & drama classes and other theatre-based initiatives. As a Resident, you will report to the Head of Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) and receive hands-n training:
- Liaising with clients, i.e. schools, participants, community partners.
- Assist with planning program schedules and registration.
- Sales support for CCL programs, i.e. telephone sales & emails.
- Support planning and delivery of all CCL programs. Provide assistant facilitator support.
- Support Front-of-House duties and SRT events as required.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood education, Arts Management or related field.
- Strong interest in arts education, youth development or community engagement.
- Experience in organising workshops or working with children and youth is advantageous.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects or events simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Willingness to work on weekends or evenings, depending on events or program schedules.
A full-time commitment to the 24-month residency program is required and the opportunity is open to Singapore citizens only.
