Who we are:
APOD is a local startup with a brand new patent-pending product that is being launched to potentially disrupt the materials industry
Responsibilities:
- Operate a large format digital printer
- Typesetting, Layout Artwork for Client’s requirement
- Manage the colours required for print, & check colours of actual prints
- Conduct research and gather feedback from sales personnel to propose and select high pressure laminate décor paper designs that meets market trends.
- Design visually impactful marketing collaterals including electronic brochures, website graphics and presentation kits that reflect the brand’s image and style.
- Develop layout/design proposals using illustration, text, photography, colour and computer- generated imagery.
- Execute and manage various aspects of product and collateral production, from conceptualization to final artwork and obtaining quotations for production – including proofing, printing, digital retouching, image editing, special effects and file manipulation and layout with suppliers.
- Collaborate with various departments in providing design and conceptualization solutions.
- Provide support for projects including photography, fairs and exhibitions from design to installation.
- Any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate Diploma or Higher
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Especially Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc)
