About your role:
We are seeking a creative who will support the team for a 6-month contract for a project. Full-time conversion will be possible based on job performance.

What you will do:

  • Shoot and edit short and long form social-first videos for The Smart Local (TSL)’s social media platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, KOL’s Instagram, Facebook etc.
  • Adapt creative techniques and critical thinking skills into the editing process to deliver videos that are engaging and on-brand with the company and team’s branding specifications and guidelines
  • Keep abreast of current trends, trend spot regularly and actively incorporates these trends into the social content TSL pushes out in a timely manner
  • To support the whole The Smart Local (TSL) Media Group with other video editing related tasks
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as required

A successful candidate should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the media industry
  • Well-versed in both photography and videography from pre to post-production
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Creative thinker with a good understanding of digital content, the social media landscape and trending topics and able to translate that into content ideas
  • Efficient self-starter, able to pick things up quickly and independently juggle several projects at once with tight deadlines
  • Highly adaptable to a work environment that is fast-paced and constantly changing
