What you’ll do

We have grown on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok in the last few years and are looking for a strategic, creative and analytical team member to take our marketplace business to the next level. You will work closely with our Product, Marketing and Operations teams to leverage what the company is doing, but also develop separate strategies and initiatives for this channel as needed. We are also adding other marketplaces and you will participate in the evaluation and growth of these marketplaces.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and grow our marketplace sales and profits in line with company goals and initiatives (including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok)
  • Assess the potential of existing and new marketplaces and develop a strategy and plan based on the differing marketplace directions, performance indicators, buyer behaviour, and available mechanics.
  • Work closely with the Marketplace and Weavve internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to plan and execute campaigns, and identify and execute on opportunities.
  • Manage store promotions include campaigns, discounts, vouchers, ads, and other mechanics
  • Manage stores including listings, pricing, store page, campaign page, product pages and other elements
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis through the development of dashboards and reports to assess performance and develop future plans
  • Manage and improve systems and processes for the internal team to be able to execute efficiently on data analysis and operations matters.
  • Manage vendors as required, including overseas marketplace management.
  • Any other company activities

Who you are and what you bring 

  • You have prior experience managing e-commerce stores, or experience as an account manager with marketplaces. General marketing experience will also be considered (e.g. advertising, direct response, merchandising, discounting, campaign management and product copywriting.)
  • You have strong business acumen, are highly accountable and driven by business success / outcomes.
  • You’re able to multi-task and prioritize in order to move with opportunities and the fast changing e-commerce environment.
  • You’re flexible with work hours, recognizing the campaign nature of e-commerce.
  • You’re an effective communicator in all delivery styles (i.e. verbal, written, messaging, etc.)
  • You display high mental agility, creativity and strong critical thinking skills.
  • You’re adept with numbers and data.
  • You’re a hands-on problem solver who is solution-focused, think fast on your feet, and can adapt quickly to changing situations.
  • You’re both self-driven and collaborative, being able to work well independently and as part of a larger team.
  • You love stretching yourself and thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • You’re fluent with: Microsoft Office, Google Docs, E-commerce / marketing systems
  • You’re passionate about home living essentials and have an eye for great design!
  • Remote candidates will be considered, pay range between S$1,000 to S$1,700 per month, depending on experience.
