SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Type A is looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Social Media Account Director to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, overseeing account performance, and driving growth within existing client accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of retaining and expanding existing  business
Key Responsibilities
– Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies and plans with our Social Media Strategist that align with overall client business objectives.
– Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and algorithms to ensure our social media offerings remain innovative and effective.
– Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content across all social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube).
– Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that visual and written content is on-brand and aligns with the company’s voice and objectives.
– Mentor and provide guidance to junior social media team members.
– Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
– Make data-driven decisions to refine and improve strategies and tactics
– 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, with a proven track record of successful   campaigns.
– Deep understanding of various social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media data to inform strategy.
– Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
– Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative social media campaigns.
– Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) is a plus.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously when called upon.
