Job Description

  • Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9am to 6pm
  • Location: Central, Somerset
  • Benefits: Cash Benefits, Birthday Leave, Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination: Manage digital and in-person events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
  • Event Setup: Oversee the setup and teardown of events, handling on-site operations throughout the event.
  • Event Run-Down: Develop and adhere to event timelines, ensuring all activities stay on track.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct surveys to gather attendee feedback, analyze it, and implement improvements for future events.
  • Event Publicity & Marketing Materials: Work with the marketing team to create effective publicity materials and coordinate with content creators for post-event marketing.
  • Logistics: Manage logistical aspects such as transportation, accommodations, and guest services. Handle documentation for licences and other regulatory needs.
  • Vendors & Suppliers: Oversee procurement of event materials and equipment, review deliverables, and manage production timelines.
  • Budgeting: Forecast, purchase, and track expenses, ensuring effective budget management.
  • Administrative: Organize site documentation, manage invoicing and payments, and handle additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years of Experience in Event Planning and Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Competence in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • (Bonus): Familiarity with these tools is an added advantage
