Join Our Award-Winning Team: Video Editors (Contract/Freelance) at Intuitive Films

Intuitive Films, a distinguished and award-winning production house, is on the lookout for responsible and experienced Video Editors to support our dynamic team on a Contract/Freelance basis for October 2024 (possible extension to November).

With an impressive history of creating compelling visual stories that resonate with audiences, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach and our commitment to excellence, which has been recognized with numerous industry accolades.

You will be collaborating closely with talented professionals to breathe life into our brand promise: Videos Designed to Influence.

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven expertise with more than 3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor and a solid professional portfolio consisting of corporate and commercial work for diverse clients that demonstrate your versatility, creativity and storytelling instinct.
  • A flexible mind that allows you to zoom in (to details of fine cutting, choice of frame, accurate spelling, placement of graphics etc) and zoom out (to overall storytelling, pacing, rhythm, themes, project timelines and more).
  • Excellent attention to detail. (We. Cannot. Emphasize. This. Enough.)
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English that allow for seamless collaboration and storytelling. Proficiency in another local language is an asset.
  • Experience in editing projects with government, agency and large company clients.
  • Technically savvy with mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro X is a bonus.
  • Colour grading abilities, a proven track record in working with plugins effectively and demonstrated skills in 2D Motion Graphics using AfterEffects are also favourable competencies.
