Who We Are
Job Description
We are looking for Social Media Content Creators to join our growing team. Our existing social media clients include top international brands in the fast food, retail and automotive industries.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Actively participate in content ideation sessions and subsequently, to propose suitable content execution(s). We value ideas and storytelling above all else.
- Social content execution: To execute simple photoshoots and/or video shoots and subsequent edits, based on approved content ideas. To provide simple design work for social posts, when required. We don’t care if you use Canva or CapCut, Photoshop or Premiere Pro – whichever tells the story better and more efficiently.
- To craft simple scripts, in-visual captions, and post copy for approved content ideas. When required, to conduct simple interviews.
- Participate in creative presentations and discussions with the client.
- Be constantly up to date with the latest social media trends, and actively propose relevant trendjacking opportunities to clients, whenever appropriate. You definitely need to know the difference between creating content for FB, IG and TT.
- Time management: to work closely with Traffic and Account Management to ensure accurate delivery of work according to timelines.
Your Team
Other than your immediate team of fellow content creators, you’ll be part of a bigger team of integrated communications professionals – strategists, art directors, writers, film directors, videographers, public relations specialists etc. where there will be frequent collaborations to conceptualise and deliver through-the-line work for our clients. This is where you will appreciate the role that social media plays in the larger integrated communications space. Sometimes it leads the conversation, and sometimes it helps to support the bigger picture.
Career progressionÂ
Career progression can be fluid – you can choose to either deepen your knowledge and expertise in the content creation field, or move to other complementary roles – content strategist, videographer, art director, brand experience designer, copywriter, junior film director, etc. This depends on your aptitude and interest. Distilleri’s objective is to groom and train well-rounded communications professionals.
