Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate & creative Marketing & PR specialist to join our team. The role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen interest in contemporary art. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and public relations strategies that enhance the gallery’s brand presence and drive engagement with our exhibition and events.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Design & implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote exhibitions, events & artist features.
- Manage social media channels & create engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
- Develop & execute email marketing campaigns & newsletters
Public Relations:
- Build & maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers & industry professionals
- Draft & distribute press releases, media kits & other promotional materials
- Coordinate media coverage for media events & exhibitions
- Plan & execute promotional activities for gallery openings, artist talks & events
- Work closely with gallery director & curatorial team to align marketing & PR efforts with gallery goals
Requirements
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in marketing & public relations, preferably within the art or cultural sector
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools & social media platforms
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- Passion for contemporary art & deep understanding of the art world is a plus
- Ability to work independently & as part of a collaborative team
