Job Description

  • Organize all transport needs for the Festival, including airport transfers and on-the-ground movement of visiting filmmakers, guests and staff.
  • Plan and manage the transport schedule and budget, in accordance with the resources set by the Festival, and to ensure that all vehicles arrive at the right place at the right time. This includes coordinating and liaising with the fleet management team of our official automobile sponsor.
  • Work closely with the rest of the hospitality department, including volunteers, to arrange for the local transportation of visiting filmmakers & guests.
  • Facilitate SGIFF guests’ Hospitality enquiries and coordinate with Hospitality Team to address these enquiries
  • Manage any other transport requests as they come in, from various departments and staff

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in planning & managing transport requirements and schedule for large scale TV/TVC/film productions and/or entertainment, performing arts or hospitality events is a MUST.
  • At least a Diploma in a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational, management and communicative skills.
  • Have extensive local driving experience, as well as good geographical sense and understanding.
  • Responsible, meticulous, good problem solving skills and able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and yet a team player.
