The Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO) is Singapore’s foremost western opera company, renowned for presenting high-quality performances featuring both international and local talents. Established in 1990 to be a part of Singapore’s burgeoning arts scene, SLO nurtures young artists, conducts educational outreach, and collaborates with communities to cultivate a passion for western opera, both for practitioners and audiences. SLO stands as a cornerstone in promoting the arts and specifically western opera in Singapore.

Do you have experience in ideating and executing marketing campaigns, spanning advertising, PR, digital marketing and advertising? If so, we want you!

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and overseeing marketing campaigns
  • Planning and managing campaigns on social media
  • Maintaining the website and reviewing data analytics
  • Strategise, plan and execute brand marketing & event marketing campaigns in a holistic manner that embraces sales and sponsorship
  • Assist with website updates using CMS (Wix)
  • Writing and proofreading creative copies
  • Vet artwork, collaterals and ensure all information is accurate on the digital and non-digital platforms
  • Coordinating with designers and vendors for the design of artwork and printing of publicity materials
  • Help identify potential sponsors and create a sales pitch deck
  • Collating info for presentations and preparation of event reports
  • Must have finger on the pulse in terms of industry trends, competition and the Singapore arts scene
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma from a recognised higher learning institute.  A related marketing degree or certification will be preferred.
  • At least 3 – 5 years related working experience in similar capacity
  • Must be articulate, with excellent organisational skills, can multitask & able to prioritise workloads
  • Must be social media savvy
  • Familiar with video and photo editing softwares like Premiere Pro/FCP, Photoshop, Lightroom
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

 

Working hours
Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm

You may be required to work outside these hours during events.  Off-in-lieu will be granted at Management’s discretion.
