We are looking for a diligent intern with some experience working in an arts environment. You must be able to fully commit to the duration of the internship. The working hours during production days will be long, and you may be required to stay in the evenings or come in early. However, the reward of seeing the entire production process come to life and creating a memorable experience for the cast, crew, and audience will be deeply satisfying!
You will be part of a small team managing the daily operations of the office and will be directly involved in the company’s annual season productions, including chorus concerts, Gala Concert, and opera stagings.
Job Description:
Marketing
- Assist in managing social media platforms and monitor activities on the company’s social media calendar.
- Prepare artwork and collaterals from designers, ensuring accuracy across digital and non-digital marketing channels for review by the Marketing Executive.
- Assist the Marketing Executive in coordinating with designers and vendors for the design and printing of publicity materials.
- Support other marketing-related activities as required.
Administrative
- Conduct database entry and regularly update records.
- Organise and update inventory periodically.
- Assist with the archiving of marketing collateral and important documents for future reference.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or possessing at least a Diploma in Arts Management, Arts and Theatre Management, Marketing & Communications, or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Experience working in an arts organisation or knowledge of the arts sector in Singapore is an advantage.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.
Interns will be required to work during performance days, which usually take place on weekends and evenings. Time off will be given the following day or at the end of the production for rest.
