Job Description
The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing wholesale accounts and will actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s presence. This role involves achieving sales targets, maintaining strong relationships with distributors and clients, and providing insights into market trends. The ideal candidate is self-driven, analytical, and well-versed in wholesale sales strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Target Achievement:
Achieve sales targets by growing and developing existing wholesale accounts, while also driving new business through strategic prospecting.
Meet or exceed revenue and metric goals within the assigned territory, contributing to overall business growth.
Review sales performance weekly, identifying opportunities, issues, and actionable strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Wholesale Account Management:
Serve as the primary contact for wholesale accounts, ensuring smooth communication, support, and issue resolution.
Oversee stock movement, monitoring product levels daily to optimise stock availability and manage reorder points.
Develop and implement discount and pricing strategies to remain competitive while maximising profitability.
New Business Development:
Identify and engage potential new clients to expand distribution channels and open new retail accounts.
Conduct market research to find new opportunities, analyse competitor offerings, and recommend strategies to penetrate new market segments.
Distributor Management:
Manage distributor relationships, ensuring they meet primary sales plans aligned with category sales objectives.
Work closely with distributors on stock movement, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly targets.
Monitor distributor credit limits and ensure timely collections of outstanding payments.
Sales and Marketing Strategy:
Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns, seasonal schemes, and bonuses to drive increased sales.
Analyse market and industry trends, keeping up-to-date with competitors and distribution channel dynamics to adjust sales strategies as needed.
Reporting & Analysis:
Provide regular insights and reports on industry trends, competitor analysis, and distribution channel performance.
Analyse customer and distributor feedback to identify gaps and improve product offerings, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualification:
2+ years of experience in working with Wholesale Accounts
Footwear Category is a Bonus!
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office–Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Strong accounting management and relationship building skills.
Expert ability to program territorial support to ensure prompt communication with customers.
Ability to work out sales deals that will accomplish budgeted margins and correspond to the company’s sales policies.
Excellent supervisory, evaluation, and reassessment experience.
Strong competence in working efficiently
Good English Communication skills required Oral & Written.
