Responsibilities
- Content Creation:Turn ideas into digital magic, scaling content for diverse audiences and platforms.
- Ideate and pitch original video content ideas that redefine digital norms.
- Represent Bandwagon as the lead social media person at relevant industry events.
- Trend Savvy:Stay attuned to music and entertainment trends in the region.
- Translate trends into tailored content that speaks volumes to our target audience.
- Platform Proficiency:Manage content across popular English and Mandarin social media platforms.
- Uphold and attain efficiency and effectiveness on owned platforms with consistent content evolution based on platform’s evolving best practices.
- Navigate platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Telegram, Little Red Book, WeChat, etc.
- Client Servicing:Key member of the client account management team and to proactively contribute marketing ideas and initiatives in line with the overall marketing efforts to meet client account deliverables.
- Manage and service the social media accounts of client’s branded venues in the hospitality, F&B and entertainment industry.
- Engage with the brands’ online community, respond to customer inquiries and feedback, and maintain a positive brand reputation across social media platforms.
- Create venue accounts on new social media platforms, developing a content strategy and building followers from scratch.
- Create and implement a plan for scheduling and organising content on the social media calendar.
- Adapt social media content and copies with the stylistic and cultural nuances of destination marketing platforms Little Red Book and WeChat.
- Establish a systematic schedule with team members for social media content gathering with all key events and campaigns activation.
- Plan and execute social media advertising and marketing promotional campaigns to drive ticket sales for events, increase foot traffic to venues, and promote F&B specials.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for alignment on social media content as well as marketing collaterals required for all key events and campaigns.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, track audience engagement, and optimize content strategies.
- Other shared duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to,
- Attend all relevant meetings with client and key stakeholders,
- Digital media and platform planning,
- Copywriting,
- Updating websites and newsletters,
- Conceptualising and coordinating campaign photoshoots with venues,
- Selection of KVs for social media and marketing purposes,
- Managing and hosting Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs),
- Coordinating on-ground activities for all key events and campaign activations,
- On-ground live coverage of key events and campaign activations on socia media platforms,
- Undertaking any ad-hoc duties as required by the client and assigned by the management team.
Qualifications
- Essentials:
- Passion for social media, nightlife culture, music, and the F&B industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, particularly Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Telegram, Little Red Book, WeChat.
- 2-3 years of social media marketing experience.
- Track record of running successful social media accounts for brands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for storytelling and engaging content.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track performance metrics, and derive actionable insights to optimize social media strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with influencers, partners, and collaborators within the entertainment, nightlife and F&B community.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Self-starter, adaptable, detail-oriented and team player.
- Organised, positive, and enthusiastic character.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge in SEO to enhance content visibility.
- Experience in running ads on social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva for additional design capabilities.
- Innovative mindset: Challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the table.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
