Job Description

Wefaa Robotics is looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist in running a 2-day robotics training workshop/competition. The ideal candidate will assist the lead trainer in guiding the young students, introducing them to the fundamentals of robotics through hands-on activities. This role is perfect for those passionate about learning and gaining experience in STEM education. Candidates with no prior experience is also welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead trainer to conduct a 2-day workshop/competition for students, introducing basic robotics concepts and guiding hands-on activities.
Facilitate a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring students are actively participating and learning.
Demonstrate and explain the functionalities of robots in a clear, approachable manner suitable for young learners.
Assist students with problem-solving and troubleshooting during robot-building and coding exercises.
Ensure the safety and proper handling of all robotics equipment and materials during the session.
Qualifications:

Candidates with interest in STEM education, particularly in robotics and coding is desired. However, candidates with no prior experience can also apply.
Patience to guide children or young learners, preferably in an educational or workshop setting.
Basic knowledge of robotics or coding is an advantage, though training will be provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Dependable, punctual, and organized, with a passion for teaching and learning.
Additional Details:

Position Type: Part-Time
Workshop Duration: 2 days, morning 8am to evening 7pm. Candidate must be available on weekends.
Location: Designated workshop venues
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Minimum Qualification:Post Secondary/Diploma(We welcome those studying or completed Bachelor/Masters)
