Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to translate our video interviews into video and audio podcasts, and shorts for social media and marketing. Our ideal candidate would have a strong sense of branding and consumer experience, a professional attitude, and ideally previous projects in video and podcast editing and mixing for various online formats and platforms (Youtube, Spotify, Apple podcasts, IG, LinkedIn).
If you’re interested in combining technical skills and engaging listener experiences,, and are passionate about personal and professional growth, psychology and business, this is a great way to learn directly from experts, while building your brand and portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
- Edit video and audio for fidelity and polish, removing fillers and ensuring sound is mixed properly
- Manage the uploads, distribution, tagging and captioning for video and audio formats for our interview podcast
- Include the intros, outros, music and segment splits where needed
- Proofread and check transcripts (these can be auto-generated, but need to be checked)
- Identify, edit and format 30-90s segments that can be repurposed into clips for social media
- (If you’re interested) happy to have your input on planning the setup, contacting guests, and proposing parts of the content where appropriate
What We’re Looking For:
- A keen understanding of what a professional podcast would look and sound like
- Experience in video and audio editing for long-form content, with an understanding of how this might translate into short form socials
- Good organization and time management
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of output
- Growth mindset, and interest in personal / professional growth and learning
- Knowledge of hosting, uploads, transcripts
- Self-driven, proactive mindset
