About DECK:
DECK is a dynamic art organisation committed to supporting and showcasing contemporary photography art practices. With our year-round programmes, we provide a platform for artists, curators, and creatives to engage, collaborate, and push boundaries in the arts community. Currently DECK is on its goal to build a permanent building by the end of 2027. DECK is a registered charity with IPC status and a recipient of NAC’s Major Company Grant. We are looking for a passionate and results-driven individual to join our team as the Communication and Partnership Manager.
This is a small arts organisation with a team of 5 people, and during major projects such as Singapore International Photography Festival, contract staffs members will increase to a team of 9 people. DECK believes importance of uplifting our local emerging artists, and staying relevant and bridging local community with the global community through oversea showcase, artist in residency and more.
Job Description
Job Overview:
As the Communication and Partnership Manager at DECK, you will play a key role in strategising and implementing communication efforts that amplify DECK’s artistic vision and programmes. Your work will help raise the profile of DECK’s activities while establishing new partnerships and securing vital fundraising for our building and diverse art initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in communications, partnership building, or fundraising, preferably in the arts or creative industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting engaging stories and content.
- Experience in managing social media channels and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including corporate partners, media, and individual supporters.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- A passion for contemporary art and cultural initiatives, with an understanding of the arts landscape.
- Proactive, creative, and self-motivated with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
