Who We Are
The Press Room is a boutique inter-disciplinary design studio founded in January 2009. Our portfolio spans from creating a book, a brand, a video to a space. The Press Room works in 2D and 3D, and are also active in curating exhibitions and galleries. We also run a self-initiated platform Studio SML documenting stories of Singaporean creatives. Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
- Work closely with the design team to execute projects.
- Strong command in the English language is a must; able to support copywriting projects.
- Conceptualize and translate to creative designs, adaptations, layouts, and final artworks.
- Create visually appealing designs for a wide variety of communication materials such as annual reports and collaterals, social media graphics, digital advertisements, and publication posts.
- Verbalize design concepts and work closely with clients to ensure all designs meet their requirements.
- A diploma/bachelor’s degree in graphics design or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in graphic design handling communication material as described above will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are also welcomed.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Proficiency in Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and typography.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to go an extra mile to meet specific tight deadlines.
