Job Description
We’re looking for a grounded and proactive intern to lead marketing and content creation at A Space Between, with some light community support when needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a calm environment, enjoys meaningful storytelling, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
Your main priority will be marketing—but you’ll also lend a hand with light community tasks such as giving tours, supporting events, and helping the main community intern when needed.
Details
- Working Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Commitment: Must be open to assisting with events, and supporting the community manager’s tasks when needed
- Location: Onsite at A Space Between
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content (Primary Focus)
- Lead content creation and social media scheduling for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Implement and monitor SEO strategies
- Conduct partnership outreach and assist with ongoing collaborations
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, and prepare reports with key insights
- Planning and executing marketing initiatives and events
Community Support (Secondary Focus)
- Occasionally assist with tours, onboarding, or events
- Supprot the lead Community Intern with operational or member-related tasks when needed
- Offer suggestions from a marketing lens to improve member engagement
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Already possesses working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, content planning, and reporting
- Strong communication skills; unafraid to ask questions or offer new ideas
- Familiar with tools like Excel, Keynote, Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premiere / After Effects
- Has initiative, is detail-oriented, and a fast learner
- Able to manage time well and work independently
- Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
- Willing to assist on occasional weekends for events or content creation, though this will be rare
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of SEO principles
- Familiarity with Keynote
- Proficiency in at least two of the following tools:
- Canva
- Capcut
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- You’ll also be working with tools like Meta Business Suite, and Notion.
We’re looking for someone who can commit for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
