Job Description

We’re looking for a grounded and proactive intern to lead marketing and content creation at A Space Between, with some light community support when needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a calm environment, enjoys meaningful storytelling, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.

Your main priority will be marketing—but you’ll also lend a hand with light community tasks such as giving tours, supporting events, and helping the main community intern when needed.

 

Details

  • Working Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Commitment: Must be open to assisting with events, and supporting the community manager’s tasks when needed
  • Location: Onsite at A Space Between
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content (Primary Focus)

  • Lead content creation and social media scheduling for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Implement and monitor SEO strategies
  • Conduct partnership outreach and assist with ongoing collaborations
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, and prepare reports with key insights
  • Planning and executing marketing initiatives and events

Community Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Occasionally assist with tours, onboarding, or events
  • Supprot the lead Community Intern with operational or member-related tasks when needed
  • Offer suggestions from a marketing lens to improve member engagement

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Already possesses working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, content planning, and reporting
  • Strong communication skills; unafraid to ask questions or offer new ideas
  • Familiar with tools like Excel, Keynote, Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premiere / After Effects
  • Has initiative, is detail-oriented, and a fast learner
  • Able to manage time well and work independently
  • Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Willing to assist on occasional weekends for events or content creation, though this will be rare

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of SEO principles
  • Familiarity with Keynote
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following tools:
    • Canva
    • Capcut
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe After Effects
    • Adobe Photoshop
  • You’ll also be working with tools like Meta Business Suite, and Notion.

We’re looking for someone who can commit for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
