Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager – APAC to drive growth and build strategic partnerships in the Asia Pacific region. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in enterprise software sales and alliances who are eager to make an impact in a high-growth, data-centric company.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities across APAC in target verticals such as BFSI, Telco, Public Sector, and Healthcare.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through direct outreach, partner engagement, and marketing collaboration.
Drive end-to-end sales processes – from lead generation to deal closure – for Solix solutions in data archiving, governance, application retirement, and cloud data management.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with cloud service providers, systems integrators, and resellers in the region.
Understand customer pain points and position Solix’s value proposition effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (pre-sales, marketing, product, and support) to align on go-to-market strategies and customer success.
Participate in industry events, webinars, and partner programs to enhance Solix’s brand visibility in APAC.
2–3 years of proven experience in enterprise software sales, business development, or partnership roles, preferably in the data management, archiving, or cloud software space.
Strong understanding of the APAC enterprise IT landscape, including market dynamics, customer buying behavior, and partner ecosystems.
Exposure to technologies like data archiving, application decommissioning, cloud migration, or compliance frameworks is a strong plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a remote setup across diverse cultures and geographies.
Prior experience working with or selling to large enterprises or regulated industries in APAC.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, legacy applications).
Ability to travel occasionally within the APAC region for client meetings and partner engagements.
