POSITION: E-commerce Intern
LOCATION: Singapore
JOB TYPE: Internship
Who are we: GIG-MERCH is a music and entertainment merchandising company based and operating out of Singapore and Hong Kong.
Who are looking for: A highly motivated proactive winner who loves everything entertainment to join our team in Singapore. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with management of online stores, campaign execution, and visual merchandising while contributing ideas and creativity to help elevate our brand online.
What you will do:
- Assist in creation and updating of product listings on our Shopify stores, including imagery, descriptions and SEO optimization.
- Design digital assets (banners, social media graphics, email visuals) using Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
- Managing and taking inventory of stocks
- Handle fulfilment, pick, pack and mailing of orders.
- Assist with customer service in handling all customer enquiries
- Perform related tasks, including office administrative work.
What you bring:
- Good command of English, written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous and excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about pop culture, entertainment and social media
- Customer service savvy, personable, approachable and articulate
- Familiar Shopify
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Design, E-Commerce, Business, or related field.
- Strong IT skills, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Mailchimp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) or Canva. Basic photography knowledge is a plus.
- Self motivated, able to work independently, dedicated and able to multi-task.
