Established in 1985, T:>Works is an independent and international arts company based in Singapore at its space, 72-13. It is currently led by Artistic Director, Ong Keng Sen. T:>Works’ mission and vision is the pioneering of thought leadership in the arts focused on transdisciplinary, transcultural, and inclusive processes. To this end, there is a strong educational perspective with research and discourse contextualising histories, contemporary experiences, and situated art practices of the global south. T:>Works also serves to investigate the current urgencies of being located in Singapore, and larger Asia, through different creative expressions in the public sphere.
Job Description
T:>Works seeks a high-energy, organised, creative and hard-working intern to offer critical project support to the Communications and Engagement Executive. The individual will offer support to the Communications and Engagement Executive, who is responsible for overseeing the marketing and communications, media, community and partnership relations for T:>Works and its many projects.
Responsibilities
- Provides attentive, intelligent, intuitive, timely and proactive support to communications, including media outreach and social media
- Plans, creates and tracks social media posts in consultation with the Communications and Engagement Executive
- Craft press releases, invitations and letters to communicate effectively and on schedule
- Support the Communications Executive in preparing of social media materials / digital indicators for analysis and grant reporting
- Complete daily administrative tasks and additional responsibilities as assigned
Key Criteria
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Social media savviness a must.
- Design capability on Adobe suite and/or Illustrator a plus.
- Video editing capability on Adobe suite a plus.
- High degrees of professionalism and reliability, a willingness to learn, and a demonstrated history of taking initiative
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects, as well as diplomatic acumen
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently, seek out needed information in order to complete assignments, and prioritise tasks at hand
