Job Description

Our Purpose

Helping innovators inspire minds, drive change, and enrich lives through thoughtfully choreographed content.

We’re Mediashock – a team that bridges the gap between technical brilliance and human understanding. We specialize in B2B tech and engineering companies, delivering livestream events that connect technical innovations with audiences across APAC time zones. Our approach isn’t about flashy production; it’s about systematic execution that ensures technical excellence and reliable delivery.

The Role

We’re looking for a Livestream Technical Specialist who values methodical processes over improvisation and reliability over creative experimentation. Someone who finds satisfaction in executing technical livestreams flawlessly across multiple time zones, ensuring that when engineers present their innovations, the technology doesn’t get in the way.

You’ll manage the technical backbone of our YouTube livestreams from our Sembawang office, working with VMix, RTMP protocols, and video asset management systems. Your success won’t be measured by creative flair but by consistent, dependable execution that allows our clients’ content to shine.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage video assets systematically for each livestream, ensuring technical readiness
Execute livestreams using VMix and YouTube Live with precision and attention to protocol
Participate in rehearsal sessions to identify and resolve technical issues before they affect live events
Manage technical operations during live events, troubleshooting issues calmly under pressure
Prepare video-on-demand content following livestream completion
Work across APAC, US, and Australian time zones based on audience requirements (early mornings, late nights, and standard business hours)
Follow documented processes systematically while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Required Experience & Qualifications

Technologically inclined with strong interest in livestreaming and digital media production
Basic troubleshooting capabilities for network and technical issues
Ability to remain calm and methodical under pressure during live events
Clear communication skills and comfort with virtual coordination
Commitment to scheduled livestreams (minimum once monthly, planned 1 month in advance)
Willingness to work from our Sembawang office for reliable internet infrastructure
Available across varied time zones based on audience location

Advantageous but not required:

Prior knowledge of VMix (training will be provided)
Basic scripting capabilities
Understanding of production workflows including video animation, language translation, and hybrid events

You’ll Thrive Here If:

You’re process-oriented and find satisfaction in following systematic workflows
You value reliability and consistency over creative experimentation in technical execution
You can commit to fixed schedules planned in advance and take ownership of independent execution
You’re comfortable traveling to Sembawang office for dependable technical infrastructure
You appreciate the importance of rehearsals and preparation for flawless live delivery
You understand that in livestreaming, technical precision matters more than creative innovation

This Might Not Be the Role for You If:

You have frequent schedule changes and cannot commit to dates communicated at least 2-3 weeks ahead. We need someone reliable who can work on committed dates and execute independently.
You cannot travel to our Sembawang office for livestream execution. We have dependable backup internet systems and technical infrastructure in place that ensure stream reliability – this is essential for professional livestream delivery.
You prefer improvisation over following well-documented processes. We have systematic workflows that ensure consistency, and we need you to follow them precisely. We welcome improvements once you’re proficient, but adherence to process is fundamental.
You’re not comfortable taking full ownership of livestream execution once trained. After initial training, you’ll run shows independently without constant supervision.
You’re seeking a creative role rather than a technical execution position focused on reliability and precision.
You struggle with early morning or late night schedules required for international audiences across APAC, US, and Australian time zones.

What We Offer:

Professional development through structured training in livestream technical operations
Part-time flexibility with advance schedule planning (minimum once monthly)
Exposure to B2B technical content and APAC regional livestream operations
A collaborative environment that values systematic thinking and continuous improvement
The satisfaction of ensuring technical innovations reach audiences without technical barriers

Training & Onboarding:

Initial training session (in-person, unpaid)
Shadow one live project session
Accreditation for independent project execution
Ongoing support as you develop expertise

Work Location: Sembawang office (reliable internet infrastructure required for livestream quality)

Schedule: Part-time, minimum once monthly, scheduled 1 month in advance across APAC/US/AU time zones
