OuterEdit is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager, with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing mid to large-scale projects across a range of disciplines. You are a ‘people’ person, someone who can decipher and sharpen the client’s brief before inspiring the team to get cracking. Reporting to the Account Director, you ensure the smooth running of various creative projects, and will be required to take an active role to drive all disciplines from strategy ,planning, conceptualisation, design and production management including managing our partners, clients, timelines, and budgets, and may oversee juniors.
The Account Manager will focus on three key areas:
- Client management and relations
- Working with our internal creative team and network of creative partners to execute projects from start to finish
- Implementing creative strategies that meet the client’s objectives.
Your duties as WAYMAKER / ACCOUNT MANAGER are as follows:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships that result in long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative directors, designers, and project managers, to ensure that all client needs are met and exceeded.
- Required to drive meetings and spearhead presentations with clients, ensuring their feedback is effectively infused back into our creative process afterwards
- Responsible for the handling of project budgets, managing project costs and invoicing clients
- You will be required to direct the creative production processes across a wide array of formats (e.g. print, digital, videography, photography, animation, events, spatial etc, and managing production partners, where needed.)
- Use clear communication skills and passion for creativity to enable you to be a link between our partners and OuterEdit, and deliver work to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
- As a strong team player, you will work closely with colleagues to achieve exceptional results, while demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, and a commitment to ethical workplace practices.
- Maintain a strong interest and knowledge in branding, design, creative storytelling, and the creative industry as a whole.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all work is delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Deliver work to a high standard of quality and accuracy, with an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems, with the ability to think positively and resourcefully.
- Prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously with great business sense.
