Art Teacher (Part-time)
Job Description
- Teach children and adults basic knowledge, principles, techniques in art (Painting, Sketching, Sculpting) and help students hone and nurture their creativity and skills
- Create lesson plans, design new projects and displays
- Monitor students’ progress
- Facilitate and participate in marketing activities/events and putting up students’ exhibitions
- Maintain good and professional relations with all parents and students
- Manage Studio together with team
- Class admin duties
- Ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
Requirements
•       Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts or Design from a reputed Institute.
•       Candidates should possess a record of creative, artistic, intellectual or professional contributions to their respective field, including experience in the practice thereof
•       ‪Have a passion for art related activities like drawing, painting and clay art
•       ‪Love to engage and able to communicate effectively with children (from 3 to 12 years old) as well as adults
•       Able to facilitate art activities to all ages, both in group and individual settings
•       Has the ability to make Fine Art fun, current and creative
•       Responsible, dedicated, patience and passionate about teaching children
•       Must be cheerful, honest, positive, and with initiative
•       Able to communicate effectively with students and peers
•       Team player with strong interpersonal skills
•    Able to work on weekday evenings and both weekends
