Assistant Producer

Job Description

The Role
OMT is looking for an Assistant Producer. Someone who knows how to assist the Production team to manage and protect a timeline, a budget, a creative vision — and the people carrying it.

Assisting the Lead Producer and Executive Producer, you’ll be part of the team ensuring plans stick, budgets are met and creative integrity is achieved within the requirements of each project. You’ll work on a range of projects from the visually ambitious to the quietly impactful.

It’s a tough job, but you’re the right one to do it — ensuring that logistics arrangements are met without losing sight of the end product.

Your Responsibilities

Off-Set

• Assist the Production team in ensuring project management success
• Own the project timeline and deliverables. Set and enforce deadlines.
• Assist Production team to manage and maintain good client relationships
• Liaise with clients, crew, vendors, and internal team to maintain alignment.
• Support creative leadership by translating artistic needs into production plans (and ground them where necessary).

On-Set

• Facilitate the smooth running of a shoot whilst on-set.
• Keep the team focused, energized, and equipped.
• Act as point-of-contact for client reps or stakeholders present on site.

Post-Production

• Track progress across post-departments, working towards specific delivery milestones.
• Communicate clearly and sensitively with clients.
• Celebrate when you’ve taken a project to its end, knowing you made it happen.

We’re One More Turn, a small team of misfits making film, video, and meaning. Our work spans from ambitious brand films to intimate documentaries. We care about what we make and how we make it.

This job isn’t for someone who just wants to “be in production.” It’s for someone who wants to be a core part of how a company runs and grows.

• Required language(s): English
• Prior experience producing commercial or creative film projects will be preferred.

Specific Requirements

• Salary: $2800 to $3400/month; offer varies based on experience.
