Senior Product Designer

Job Description

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Designer across the different categories (ready-to-wear, bags, accessories) to join our Product Design team. You will play a key role in contributing to the Product Design team in the research, conceptualisation, and design of new products to add to the brand’s diverse range of products.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Work closely with the Product Strategy team in conducting and leading discussions with the team in the areas of trend research and trendspotting.
• Independently ideate and propose potential product lines and new products, proposing fresh concepts, colour palettes and fabric for product drops.
• Create and develop detailed tech packs and technical details of different products.
• Liaise with factories and suppliers in communicating designs and overseeing sampling/prototype development, up till styles go into bulk production.
• Work closely with the Production team on QC requirements and product testing.
• Travel internationally to visit factories and suppliers, and conduct fabric and material sourcing where necessary.

Requirements include:

• Have studied or majored in Fashion Design or Product Design, with minimally 4-5 years of working experience in a similar Apparel Design role.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Highly creative with a keen eye for fashion, design, and trends, constantly keeping their finger on the pulse of what’s new.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines.
• Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail.
• A strong, clear and concise communicator who is able to work both independently and within team settings.
