Job Description

Full Time Position Only.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, mediums, and styles.
  • Effectively teach students how to use them to express their ideas and emotions.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in developing their artistic skills – drawing, painting, sculpting, and other art forms.
  • Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and collaboration among students.
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students’ artwork, helping them identify areas of improvement and celebrating their achievements.
  • Ensure a safe and orderly art classroom environment, following appropriate safety guidelines and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.
  • Engage children in lessons, ensuring activities are fun and age-appropriate.
  • Maintain Good and Professional relations with Children and Parents.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, mediums, and styles.
  • Previous experience teaching art to students of various age groups and skill levels.
  • Engage students with sensory play.
  • Passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic growth in students.
  • Enthusiastic individual that has initiative, high adaptability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of studio.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.
  • Able to converse in English and/or Mandarin (as will need to liaise with student and/or parents who speaks in mandarin)

Working Hours

  • Tuesday: 4pm to 8pm
  • Wed – Fri: 1pm-8pm
  • Sat – Sun: 9am-7pm
