Job Description
The ideal candidate should be able to create visually stunning 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for a variety of projects by:
- Contributing creative ideas to the briefing discussions and conduct research on styles and technical solutions for project.
- Creating storyboards for the project if required, and translate storyboards into styleframes.
- Utilising C4D or adjacent software to design basic assets or manipulate prepared assets to be used in Styleframes and Animation.
- Having a good understanding of design principles to draft out preliminary Styleframes and refine with moderate guidance.
- Having a good understanding of compositing pipeline and techniques to combine elements into a cohesive image.
- Having a good understanding of 3D render engine capabilities (Shaders, AOVs, Sampling) to produce pleasing 3D renders.
- Rendering 3D scenes into image outputs while managing render times.
- Refining motion graphic sequences based on creative inputs from the team & feedback from client, with guidance if necessary.
- Ensuring changelog of WIPs is thorough, including any upcoming modifications or identified errors.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has a degree or diploma in animation, motion graphics or design related course.
- Is able to work as a team and independently.
- Uses C4D (Redshift), After effects, Photoshop and other related softwares.
- Keeps up to date with all the latest trends in motion design.
