Job Description

Job Purpose:
As a Digital and Social Media Associate Specialist, your primary role is to lead strategic digital and social media campaigns and influencer engagements for Directions Group Inc. and its brand partners in the region. Your role involves developing and executing innovative strategies that leverage digital and social media channels to effectively communicate with the target audience, cultivate interactions and deliver impactful narratives or experiences that elevate the visibility and brand impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy & Management: Craft and implement creative digital and social media campaign strategies for brand partners, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and optimization for specific campaign goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities include influencer identification and outreach, campaign planning and execution, content collaboration, gifting, dressing, event invitation and hosting as well as monitoring performance through social media analytics to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Social Media Channel Management: Manage agency and/or brand partners’ social media channels, including content strategy, creation, scheduling, community engagement, advertising, audience growth & acquisition, social listening and monitoring, data analysis and reporting. Ensure consistent brand messaging, engagement, and optimisation of communication efforts across all social media channels.
  • Influencer Marketing: Foster strong relationships with influencers to drive continuous content and engagements that enhance brand visibility. Oversee all phases of influencer marketing initiatives, from discovery to engagement management.
  • Digital Experiences: Collaborate with creative & content team to craft compelling digital narrative and/or experiences that resonate with target audiences. This may encompass interactive content, immersive brand experiences, website optimization, and digital storytelling to enhance brand perception, engagement, and audience connection.

Other Marketing Support:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and solutions for marketing campaign or pitch proposals. Assist in end-to-end marketing strategy planning and execution, including competitive research, audience identification, messaging, consumer journey design, creative ideation as well as content creation and delivery.
  • Design and Media Production: Support basic design and media production work, including videography, photography, and copywriting for digital or social media content and marketing collaterals.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of digital and social media developments, share insights, and identify new opportunities for innovation with the team.
  • Operational Support: Assist in daily operations within the Digital and Marketing Communications divisions including organising digital assets, managing samples, coordinating personality dressings and product seedings, monitoring social media, managing event invitations and logistics, hosting presentations, maintaining databases, etc.
  • Cross Functional Support: Provide support for other marketing projects and events organized by the agency whenever necessary.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications and New Media, Mass Communications, Design for Communications and Experiences, or related field.
  • A resourceful self-starter with strong project and time management skills, capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Demonstrates a keen interest and broad knowledge of the digital and social media landscape, particularly within the luxury lifestyle and fashion industry.
  • Enjoys cultivating and maintaining meaningful connections online and offline.
  • A creative, collaborative and innovative thinker, with an appreciation for good content, design and aesthetics.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Familiar with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Linkedin.
  • Basic photography and videography skills, with proficiency in design and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) as well as experience with web analytic tools such as Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
