Job Description
Working with a small team of dynamic individuals, the Manager will develop and execute events for the agency’s list of luxury lifestyle brand clients in various industries covering fashion, jewellery, beauty, hospitality and corporate events.
The job scope will cover all relevant research, planning and implementation work required for the delivery and execution of an event. In addition, he/she will also be responsible for maintaining and cultivating enduring relationships with clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop event concepts and themes in line with client needs and target audience
- Create detailed event schedules, timelines, and project plans
- Source, establish, develop and actively manage relationships with key vendors providing for the best available resources and contract negotiation for optimal project outcomes
- Develop and manage event budgets, including pre-event, during-event, and post-event costs.
- Source and secure venues that align with the event’s vision and client preferences
- Responsible for ensuring that procurement of permits, licenses, and all other paperwork for events are managed by respective production personnel
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including setup, decoration, and event flow
- Manage event day-of operations, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any issues that arise
- Coordinate and supervise event staff, including event team members, vendors, and other personnel
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, serving as primary point of contact
- Lead internal and client-facing presentations and review sessions
- Conduct post-event analysis and reporting, including ROI and client feedback
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, PR, Mass Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in event management or marketing, preferably in an agency or luxury lifestyle setting
- Proven leadership experience and strong vendor/client networks are advantageous
- Skilled in strategic thinking, decision-making, and budget/resource planning
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus
- Work non-standard hours as required
- Willingness to travel
