The Role
As a Videographer, you will be primarily responsible for camera operation, location sound recording and editing in the video production projects for DANAMIC and the clients of DNMC Creative. By being adaptable and meticulous, you will be able to explore and work on video content from a wide range of industries, in both B2C and B2B contexts.
You will be part of a dynamic team, empowered to drive our clientele’s growth in the ever-changing world of video content. Alongside all of this, you will also work alongside internal DANAMIC and DNMC projects that range from video ads to narratives.

Key Responsibilities
- You will work with the Director, Producer, and occasionally a Director of Photography, on your assigned video production projects for DANAMIC and the clients of DNMC Creative from the pre-production to the post-production stage
- You may be required to conceptualise assigned video production projects
- You are to establish the camera setup for filming and decide which camera, lenses, and rigs will be best in accordance with the assigned video production project’s budget set by the producer
- You are to attend the location and technical recce sessions prior to filming and explore the potential of every location
- You are to operate the camera(s) and record audio during event coverages or filming sessions
- You may be required to lead a team of videographers on projects that require a multi-cam setup
- You are to wrangle the footage and location sound recording in an organised folder according to DNMC Creative’s standard structure
- You are to edit the offline cut and perform basic colour correction during post-production
- You are to neatly archive the project upon completion in accordance with DNMC Creative’s procedures
- To be adaptable to the different video production requirements of clients from across a spectrum of industries
Skills & Experiences
- Proven working experience of 1-2 years in the Video Production industry, or in a related field
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with the working team including technical terms such as shot sizes and movements, and the exposure triangle
- Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of cameras, their respective available recording codecs and compression capabilities, lenses, as well as rigging, and sound equipment
- Attentive to detail throughout the entire process from pre-production to post-production of any assigned video production projects
- Prior experience in other relevant production roles will be a bonus
- Proficient in video editing software(s) such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, and basic knowledge of photo editing software(s) such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
