Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Producer with strong project management skills to support our production team on multiple ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a variety of tasks across different stages of production, from pre-production planning to post-production delivery, while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. You will be working closely with senior producers, clients, and vendors to help execute high-quality projects efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
– Project Coordination: Assist in managing day-to-day project logistics, ensuring that all tasks are executed smoothly and on schedule.
– Timeline & Budget Management: Help track production timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
– Client Communication: Act as a liaison between clients and production teams, providing updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring client expectations are met.
– Vendor & Talent Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, talent, and other collaborators, ensuring all necessary resources are in place for production.
– Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and other necessary paperwork.
– Creative Support: Assist in organizing creative assets and providing general support to the creative team during pre-production, production, and post-production.
– Problem-Solving: Proactively address any production issues, delays, or challenges, offering solutions to ensure the project stays on track.
– Post-Production Support: Coordinate post-production processes, including asset delivery, client feedback, and final revisions.
Skills & Qualifications:
– 2+ years of experience in a production or project management role, preferably in a creative agency, film, advertising, or media industry.
– Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
– Clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal) to liaise with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
– Proficiency in project management software and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
– Experience in creative production processes (e.g., video, design, digital, or experiential) is a plus.
– Comfortable working remotely and independently, while still being a strong team player.
Nice-to-Have:
– Experience in digital production, including video and social media content creation.
– Familiarity with production software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) or similar tools.
– A passion for creative storytelling and design.
