Job Description

Job Summary:
The Social Media Intern will support the Marketing Manager in creating, curating, and managing content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing social media content
Create engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, and videos (Reels, Stories).
Take high-quality photos of furniture and other products for social media posts and marketing materials.
Schedule and publish posts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond appropriately.
Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities.
Help analyze social media metrics and prepare reports on performance.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

 

Qualifications / Skills:
Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
Good eye with photography and editing of photos and reels
Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom would be an added value
Creative problem-solving skills
Self-starter with ability to work independently
Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic photography, image and video editing

 

Other details:

Minimum commitment of 3 months. Ideally 6 months.
Undergraduates and graduate students are both welcomed to apply.
Commencement period: ASAP
