Job Description
Brief Description:
This position is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Communications department. You will be part of a small yet cohesive team and will be therefore given a wide array of responsibilities and tasks, depending on our needs, as well as your own skills and interests.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Assist with the producing (visual design) of our main communications collaterals, both online (social media posts, website, infographics) and offline (annual reports, e-newsletters etc). Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Canva.
2) Assist with updating our official website. Some knowledge of WordPress, HTML and CSS would be ideal.
3) Assist with processing and compilation for outreach events and media news articles collation.
4) Help organise outreach events (planning, logistics).
5) Be in touch with vendors when needed for our collaterals and events.
6) Other administrative duties as necessary.

1) To be able to improve proficiency in producing marketing and communication collaterals, especially in the aspects of visual design
2) To be gain knowledge in event planning and logistics
3) To apply communication skills by working with vendors and liaising with various stakeholders
4) To apply time management and prioritisation skills
5) To apply creativity and problem-solving skills
Note:
This is a three-day work position (Tues, Thurs & Fri, 9am to 6pm). We are also open to candidates who want to work two days. (either Tues and Thurs, or Tues and Fri).
About the organisation:
The Red Pencil (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character and a registered charity founded in Singapore with a mission to bring the benefits of creative arts therapy (drawing, music, movement and dance) to less privileged children, adults and families who have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence and abuse, for which they may have no words, yet need the healing non-verbal expression that the arts provide to journey towards recovery and empowerment.
