Role Overview
This internship offers hands-on exposure to event marketing in venture capital, providing experience in brand-building, investor engagement, and portfolio promotion. Interns will actively contribute to Startup Wars, VC Socials, Annual General Meetings, and other key events, gaining insights into marketing strategies that connect startups, investors, and the wider ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end planning and execution of Startup Wars, VC Socials, and the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
- Develop and manage event marketing materials (social media posts, EDMs, press releases, collaterals).
- Coordinate with portfolio companies, ecosystem partners, and service providers for event participation.
- Manage event registrations, communications, and post-event engagement reports.
- Track event KPIs and compile analytics on attendee engagement and marketing ROI.
- Assist with photography, videography, and live coverage during events.
- Contribute to broader brand-building initiatives beyond events, such as PR campaigns and digital storytelling.
Learning Objectives
- Apply marketing principles in advertising & promotion, digital marketing, public relations, event marketing, and B2B engagement.
- Gain practical understanding of how marketing supports business objectives in a venture capital context (investor communications, portfolio branding).
- Develop exposure to cross-functional collaboration (investment, operations, finance).
- Strengthen planning & organisation by managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- Build oral and interpersonal communication skills through interaction with founders, investors, and partners.
- Enhance problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability by handling live event challenges.
- Demonstrate quality of work, dependability, and teamwork in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Build digital fluency with marketing tools (Figma, Canva, MailChimp, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).

Timeline & Work Arrangements
- Preferred Duration: 3–6 months full-time.
- Work Mode: Hybrid (1 day WFH), standard office hours Mon–Fri, with occasional evenings/weekends for events.
