Job Description

Social Media Executive
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing social media channels and campaigns to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. He or she will also be responsible for researching and analysing social media trends and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign effectiveness. He or she will work across departments to promote the overall brand through social media channels. The ideal candidate has to be agile, disciplined and highly motivated to deliver the best for our clients.

 

Responsibilities and Duties
●       Manage content and oversee social media profiles of allocated accounts

●       Respond effectively to customer reviews/inquiries

●       Build social profiles to drive engagement, create awareness and increase brand visibility

●       Audit and analyse social media presence, including digital advertising costs and returns

●       Deep dive into social media analytics to gather actionable insights and generate monthly reports

●       Manage the community and monitor online conversations; monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

●       Collaborate with internal marketing and content/production teams to generate advertising assets including videos, graphics, ad copies, landing page URLs to create and deliver best-in-class social media and content-driven campaigns for our clients

●       Manage content calendars and project-manage advertising materials

●       Stay up to date on industry changes to ensure our clients are always ahead of the curve on digital and social

 

Qualifications/Skills
●       Minimum 1 year experience working preferably in a digital agency setting or in a similar role within the digital and social media landscape

●       Diploma/Degree in Creative Multimedia, Film and Media Studies, Mass Communications or equivalent

●       Strong knowledge of the Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager and experienced in running ad campaigns

●       Possess a strong understanding of the advertising/marketing landscape and be passionate about the job

●       Ability to deliver engaging, creative briefs

●       Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective in communicating with internal stakeholders, vendors and team members

●       Sharp eye for detail with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn, ability to re-prioritize while operating within a fast paced environment

Intermediate level in MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google for Work products (Google Analytics, Sheets, Slides)
