Having a keen interest in eating, traveling and drinking, we cover everything from hawker food to premium fine-dining restaurants. Above all, we try to give honest, balanced reviews without getting sued by restaurant owners. This is more than your average food and travel blog.

Think you might be a good fit? You’re in luck! We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team of foodies to help support us in creating content and manage the influencer relationships and partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and execute new and upcoming F&B awards project
  • Sourcing and implementing new affiliate opportunities and other alternative business opportunities
  • Support the marketing of media outlets by monitoring the results of content delivered on global social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, using analytics tools to identify trends and key learnings
  • Develop e-commerce channel listings
  • Assist in preparation and inventory of e-commerce business
  • Create written content for different digital platforms and audiences, understanding audience profile, and platform requirements
  • Conduct thorough research and identify the relevant influencers and KOLs in the food and lifestyle industry who align with our brand’s target audience
  • Initiate contact with relevant influencers and KOL through various channels such as email, social media platforms and professional networks
  • Assist in client management and reporting
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment

Key Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
  • Advanced writing skills to prepare social media materials
  • Understand social media platforms and how to engage audiences using different types of image-based content
  • Familiar with digital advertising, influencer marketing strategies and online marketing campaigns
  • Experience in video production, knowledge in camera technical skills and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
  • Strong Interest and Knowledge of the influencer industry
  • Willing to learn, meticulous and responsible
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Team player with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
