Drive and advance art direction, visual development and design
● Research and respond strategically to briefs and deliver art/creatives that effectively meet objectives and are in line with clients’ intent, guidelines and messaging
● Set the design direction of campaigns across various platforms ie art direction, campaign device, design look and feel that is aligned to and amplifies concept
● Work closely with Creative Director and fellow creatives to develop and execute creative concepts
● Work with project managers to crack the creative brief, provide solutions and ensure project timelines are met
● Participate in the entire production process to ensure integrity of final product (print, video, or digital production).
Develop and drive strategy, concepts, and content management for projects
● Generate marketing/communication ideas in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
● Develop and drive through-the-line concepts for campaigns across touchpoints
● Conceptualize, develop and execute original, innovative, and strategically-sound creative concepts and ideas across the full range of design communication channels
● Represent the company to present to and manage clients for assigned projects
Creative mentorship and supervision
● Take a senior creative role to drive, manage and execute innovative, effective and strategically-sound work ie call for ideation, track progress, clear work etc
● Manage and work alongside cross-functional creatives( social, design, copy, animators etc) to ensure quality, timely delivery, and creative integrity of work
● Maintain strategy and concept in developing innovative and effective creative solutions in a timely and budget-aligned manner
● Review, refine and approve creative work developed by the team, ensuring deliverables effectively address the job brief, fulfil objectives and address client input
● Work with internal stakeholders ie account directors/managers, studio manager, producers, freelancers etc to ensure quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction
Relationships / Communication
● Manage, mentor and support assigned creatives to enhance work quality and delivery
● Create a positive relationship with internal team to ensure positive work environment and strong morale ( both creatives and across the rest of the agency)
● Present to, engage with, and manage stakeholders (internal and external) in presentations and discussions when necessary
● Able to work effectively and positively to win confidence and trust of colleagues, clients and partners
Should have at least 5 years of industry experience in an advertising/design comms agency
A strong track record and portfolio of past work. Experience with government/public service will be an advantage
