Sqkii is known for our flagship #HuntTheMouse campaign that gives away cold, hard cash to players who find hidden coins. If you’ve seen Singaporeans squatting in random spots, walking around with metal detectors, or sticking their heads under tables… you’ve probably seen one of our games in action. Besides our hunts, we also create custom games that bring players on other real life adventures and virtual journeys through their mobile screens — they’re also super cool, just ask the mouse.

Right now, we’re bringing #HuntTheMouse beyond the shores of Singapore to other cities across Asia-Pacific. We’ve visited 6 other cities so far, hidden a million dollars in Singapore in 2024, and oh boy do we have big plans ahead. Big plans = bigger team, so we’re on the hunt (ha) for someone who wants to hop onto this thrilling ride.

As our Merchant Acquisition Associate, you’ll hunt down and win over F&B merchants across Singapore from cafes and restaurants to hawker brands. You’ll demo our payment and merchant solutions, coordinate smooth onboarding with the team, and turn cold leads into loyal partners while smashing ambitious monthly outlet targets. What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, reach out to, and acquire new F&B merchants including restaurants, cafes, food outlets, and catering businesses across Singapore.
  • Conduct proactive outbound sales activities such as cold calls, visits, and presentations tailored to the F&B sector’s needs and challenges.
  • Demonstrate our payment and merchant solutions and communicate clear value propositions specific to the F&B industry.
  • Meet and exceed aggressive monthly outlet acquisition targets focused on F&B merchants.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with F&B merchant partners to promote retention and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for F&B merchants.
  • Provide feedback from the F&B market and merchants to inform product and service enhancements.

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in sales or merchant acquisition, ideally within the F&B sector or retail in Singapore.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, especially in acquiring small to medium-sized F&B merchants.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored to the hospitality and F&B environment.
  • Self-starter with excellent networking and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of F&B operational challenges and basic knowledge of payment solutions is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple prospects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
