About the role

We’d love to have you on the DAM team if you:

  • 2-3 years of working experience
  • Either have a background in Design & Marketing Communications / PR / Marketing / Business related subject
  • Interested in understanding consumer behaviour towards brands
  • Have outstanding research and analytical skills to organize and deliver reports
  • Are strong in data literacy
  • Are strong in studying key industry trends and competitors’ user experience strategies to support the development of brand strategy and creative brief
  • Display empathy in formulating design research studies and understanding of translating research findings to human-centred designs
  • Have business acumen
  • Possess a growth mindset and are always curious about the way things work
  • Aren’t afraid of asking questions and are motivated to give more than an “I don’t know” answer
  • Take ownership and pride in your projects and are a great team player

You will be assisting the creative team with

  • Conceptual, strategic and creative research
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their brand objectives, target audience, and competitive landscape to develop comprehensive brand strategies that drive business growth
  • Conducting market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitor analysis to identify brand opportunities and inform strategic recommendations
  • Skilled in conducting Competitor Analysis, SWOT Analysis, Stakeholder Interviews, Customer Surveys and Analysis, Brand Positioning Analysis, and Brand Personality Development, among other brand strategy services
  • Ascertain research context and requirements based on research objectives
  • Collect research data on consumers, competitors and market conditions using both quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Conduct ethnographic research based on design research study objectives
  • Developing brand positioning and messaging frameworks that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of each client’s brand and resonate with target audiences
  • Create compelling brand narratives and storytelling campaigns that bring brands to life across various channels, including digital platforms, social media, print, and experiential activations
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints, including visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of branding initiatives and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement
  • Deduce conclusions from the analysis performed
  • Create presentation decks
  • Liaise with team members for design research output development
  • Prepare essential documents that will protect the interests of research participants
  • Uncover design trends and patterns based on information gathered
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding and storytelling to drive innovation
