Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support (Level 1) to end-users, including installations, configurations, and troubleshooting hardware & software, OS (Linux/Windows/ Mac) and network issues.
- Respond to IT support tickets and service requests in a timely manner, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and policies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Support remote users through various communication channels, including phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics, Conduct Preventive Maintenance as specified and on schedule.
- Dispatching IT equipment to remote users and other facilities.
- Occasionally required to work after regular hours and or specific Stand-by duty, in line with the global business needs.
- Perform overtime when required for Meetings, Projects roll-out, etc. due to the line of business.
- Assist the support team, if needed, to perform 24×7 Stand-by (No Shift work is required).
- Any other Technical related tasks as and when assigned by the reporting supervisor / manager.
Skills and Experiences:
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume, multi-tasking environments while remaining calm and poised under pressure.
- Experience installing, configuring, Printers/Scanners and providing application support.
- Experience providing Level 1 support for Network and System Administration
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Experience in server system administration platforms (server technologies, hardware) and networking technologies (routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, WiFi).
- Understanding and basic knowledge of common end-user hardware (laptops, keyboards, printers, VoIP devices, mobile devices, USB devices, etc.)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) valuing customer oriented and cool temperament.
- Strong problem solving and analytical Skills.
- Priority will be given to local or P/R and able to smart immediately.
