Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support the daily management of social communities for a portfolio of iconic drinks brands.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for community management, moderation, and escalation, ensuring our brands’ social pages remain safe, engaging, and aligned with client expectations. You’ll work closely with our account and creative teams, gaining hands-on experience in social media management and content creation while helping shape how brands interact with their audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor brand social media platforms daily, ensuring timely responses and community engagement.
- Moderate user-generated content and comments, escalating sensitive issues to the appropriate internal or client contacts.
- Support day-to-day community management, including drafting replies, tagging conversations, and capturing consumer sentiment.
- Track and report on engagement trends, flagging opportunities or risks.
- Assist in preparing content calendars, publishing posts, and optimising engagement across platforms.
- Collaborate with content managers and creatives to ensure brand tone of voice and messaging consistency.
- Stay up to date with cultural trends and platform updates, suggesting ways to keep our brand communities fresh and relevant.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks daily.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Passionate about digital culture, social media, and brand storytelling.
