Job Description

  • Editorial Intern: Time Out
  • Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
  • Commitment: 6 months, full-time
  • Start date: Flexible

Are you obsessed with discovering cool things to do, eat, and see in Singapore, Asia and beyond? Do you have a way with words and a feed full of travel inspo? Time Out is looking for a sharp, curious, and creative intern to join our editorial team.

As our Editorial Intern, you’ll get to work across all areas of our fast-paced digital publication. From writing timely news and trend-driven stories to helping produce content across our city sites in APAC, you’ll get hands-on experience in digital publishing, social media, and content strategy. This is the perfect opportunity if you want to explore a future in journalism, media, or travel and lifestyle content creation.

What you’ll do

  • Pitch, research, and write engaging editorial pieces for Time Out
  • Support our editors with content updates across regional sites
  • Help produce and schedule social media content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Monitor regional travel trends and cultural happenings
  • Attend editorial brainstorms and contribute fresh, exciting ideas

What we’re looking for

  • A confident writer with a flair for storytelling and grammar
  • Strong organisational skills and a can-do attitude
  • A passion for travel, lifestyle, and culture in Asia
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram
  • Available for at least 6 months
  • Must be legally able to work/intern in Singapore
