Job Description
TRIA is an award-winning company for sustainable and innovative foodware solutions. Over the years, the company has built a reputation for its clever use of designs to drive sustainability, such as the Leaf Box for Crave Nasi Lemak, the Multi-tier Carrier of Pizza Boxes for Canadian Pizza and most recently the V-Pouch for Pizza Hut. These efforts have helped shift foodservice brands away from the use of plastic and reduce packaging material used.
With a commitment to reduce reliance on fossil-based plastics, TRIA has ventured further to incubate a Circular Solution for Single-use Foodware. Utilising breakthrough technologies in material, recycling and valorisation, TRIA has developed an end to-end system which starts from the supply of bio-digestible packaging to the collect back of its waste for organic recycling, turning waste into farm-ready fertilizers for crop growth. This in effect not just allows fast-food restaurants to close the loop on their single-use packaging, it opens a new chapter on regenerative food, energy and a circular food system.
TRIA’s achievements have been recognized globally, with features in over 100 media channels and numerous awards, including the Emerging Enterprise Award, the ASEAN-Korea Excellent Design Award, and the SICC Award for the most scalable collaboration. TRIA’s CEO, Ng Pei Kang, has been honored with a place on Eco-Business’s A-list for Sustainability Leadership and serves as a juror for the Singapore Good Design Award for sustainable solutions.
TRIA is headquartered in Singapore and is supported by venture capital funds with a mandate to enable circular food systems and reduce carbon emissions to combat the impacts of climate change.
