Job Description

T:>Works seeks a creative, passionate, and adaptable individual as Digital Projects and Outreach Intern, to provide support to the Digital Projects and Outreach Executive, General Manager, and Executive Director, in areas including but not limited to digital projects, content creation, outreach, and other project-related activities where relevant.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Digital Projects

  • Assist project coordination with relevant digital projects development vendors.
  • Assist conducting research for robust digital platform developments for engagement pipeline establishment, contact management, and archival platforms including T:>Digital, a digital library that serves as a virtual locus
    carrying T:>Works’ commitment to contextualising histories, contemporary experiences, and situated art practices in Singapore and larger Asia.
  • Conduct research, propose, design, and draft knowledge collaterals for each T:>Digital video asset and associated artistic community to expedite T:>Works’ vision of translocal knowledge production.
  • Ideate, propose ideas, and support in every area relevant to T:>Digital’s vision as a space for lasting artistic dialogue.
  • Assist in maintenance and development of T:>Works donation management and audience engagement system.
  • Assist in maintenance and development of T:>Works website projects from archival perspective, including Per°Form, Artistic Directors Academy, T:>Works Asia, etc., and any other digital projects-related matters as guided.

 

Outreach

  • Generate email drafts for T:>Works’ personalised mass mailing operation.
  • Enhance T:>Works outreach list with focus on quantity and quality in relevant leads securement.
  • Ideate and propose strategies on customised and effective outreach endeavour.
  • Assist in maintenance and development of T:>Works outreach operation.
  • Assist in any other outreach and project facilitation-related matters as guided including events ticketing and registration management.

 

Other Project-Related Support

  • Assist other project-related duties helmed by Digital Projects and Outreach Executive on all fronts.

The successful candidate is a consummate communicator, creative thinker and digital content producer with a passion for the arts, and thrives in a progressive and fast-paced artistic environment with a sense of ownership. He/She/They will meet many of these criteria, and have the desire and capacity to learn the rest during the internship:

  • Strong work ethics, with willingness to learn, initiate, and contribute to the artistic vision of T:>Works, when enlisted to support as required.
  • Ability to managing complex projects with differing timelines and deadlines with strategic and growth mindset.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent editorial skills, with a keen eye for consistency, accuracy, and detail while strong in overall strategies.
  • Design and video editing capabilities using the full Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other software to create content, are preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital content management systems (Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive) and video production process.
  • Strong interest in and sensibility to the overall arts ecosystem.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially with Google Suite.
  • Singapore Citizen/PR only.

 

ABOUT T:>WORKS

Established in 1985, T:>Works is an independent and international arts company based in Singapore at its space, 72-13. It is currently led by Artistic Director, Ong Keng Sen. T:>Works’ mission and vision is the pioneering of thought leadership in the arts focused on transdisciplinary, transcultural, and inclusive processes. To this end, there is a strong educational perspective with research and discourse contextualising histories, contemporary experiences, and situated art practices of the global south. T:>Works also serves to investigate the current urgencies of being located in Singapore, and larger Asia, through different creative expressions in the public sphere.

There will be a monthly internship stipend.
Preference will be given to those with relevant experience.
