We are recruiting an Investment Sales Specialist within the wealth and financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Sales Targets: Actively prospect, identify, and acquire new high-net-worth (HNW) or institutional clients to grow the investment portfolio and meet aggressive sales and revenue targets.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and distribution partners (e.g., relationship managers, financial consultants).
Investment Advisory: Provide expert, client-centric advice on a wide range of sophisticated investment products and strategies, including equities, bonds, Unit Trusts, ETFs, mutual funds, derivatives, and structured products.
Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth analysis of client financial goals, risk tolerance, and current portfolio to recommend tailored investment solutions.
Market Intelligence: Monitor and interpret economic data, financial news, and market trends to deliver timely and actionable investment insights to clients and internal sales teams.
Product Expertise: Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of the firm’s entire product suite, including technical details, performance data, and competitive positioning.
Content Delivery: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and investment counselling sessions to articulate complex strategies clearly and convincingly.
Deal Execution: Facilitate and ensure the smooth, timely execution of client investment transactions
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities, advice, and product recommendations strictly adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines, CMFAS licensing rules) and internal compliance policies.
Reporting & Documentation: Utilize CRM tools to diligently record client activities, sales pipelines, meeting notes, and prepare sales performance and risk reports for management.
