Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our creative team to understand project objectives and requirements, ensuring alignment with our creative vision and brand guidelines.
- Review and select footage for inclusion in projects, working closely with directors and producers to capture the essence of the story.
- Edit video footage to create seamless transitions, compelling sequences, and engaging visual effects that enhance the storytelling experience.
- Incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine and perfect the final product, ensuring it meets their expectations and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, exploring new techniques and tools to enhance your editing skills and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative vision.
- Proficiency in video editing software like DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to editing, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset, with the ability to bring ideas to life through the art of editing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Understanding of current video editing trends and techniques
- Experience in the advertising or media industry is a plus
