Job Description
Just Another Production is looking for an Assistant Producer to be part of several Malay-based projects for 2026-27 including a telefilm, a major reality-competition series and a travel show.
There will be a wide array of responsibilities depending on the project.
This will include the following but not be limited to:
- Working with the team in pre-production phase to ensure smooth and efficient filming
- Collaborating with the Creative Team and Executive Producers to create concepts and ideas as well as creative problem solving
- Gathering information and knowledge from accessible resources to execute the project efficiently
- Aiding in research and scripting of episodes
- Preparing and distributing daily call sheets that explain the filming sequences as well as the actors and equipment required
- Identifying and reporting concerns that arise during filming to the director or producers
Managing talents and crew - Running errands and collecting supplies
- Hiring, coordinating and overseeing crew members and supervising production workers
- Communicating progress updates
- Ability to work with art team to identify props and propose suitable props on site
- Bonus if able to independently handle social media video content
*As the projects will be in the Malay language, you will be required to speak Malay to communicate with all parties involved
*Our offices has a dog on site that is our ‘Chief Morale Officer’. Please take note if you’re not comfortable with dogs.
There will be a possibility of a contract extension once the initial projects are completed.
